General Overview
GLENIS is a 3D computer
program developed in the department of Materials Engineering at the
University of Wales, Swansea for the prediction of temperatures and cooling
rates within specimens heated by the Joule effect in a GLEEBLE
The GLENIS software is an essential tool for the GLEEBLE researcher. The
software can provide a means to simulate experiments and study the effects
of specimen geometry and grip design. Optimization of specimen/grip design
to obtain specific temperature distributions or cooling rates in physical
simulations can be greatly enhanced with the GLENIS simulation software
package.
